OK guys I have wonderful (and not so new) news: Mom just got a RAVE (Recognizing Arts Vaughan Excellence) Award!!! Vaughan is a city in Ontario, Canada, by the way. The official ceremony was in early November and she got it in the Literary Arts: Art Educator/Mentor section for her work at the Vaughan Poets' Circle, etc. And I swear the award looks like an Oscar! I'll post it so you can see, its even solid brass (and very heavy too).

Yeah if you guys remember this is DOuellet's daughter running this she just has too much work to do with her job so she asked me to do this for her. I'm doing a French art presentation on Mom so I went through this HUGE portfolio of work she showed me a while ago. She's like "Oh, these are so old and bad" and I'm like "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THESE ARE AWESOME!" I've seriously never seen this stuff before so I'm proud to submit it. Enjoy!!! =D
